I have a 2003 Chevy avalanche I blew up the transmission at 330000 kms just before a long weekend. Brock and his team managed to squeeze me in the Tuesday following the long weekend did a full diagnostics, pulled it apart and gave me multiple options to suit my budget. Rebuilt the transmission, replaced the torque converter and had me back on the road midday Friday the same week. It was approximately $1500 less expensive than the other shops. They also back the work they did with a 1 year warranty. Had me back in the shop a week later for a follow up appointment to ensure everything was working as it should be. On a trip from Alaska to Illinois, my car's clutch bit the dust in Jasper. After dealing with a sham mechanic and another mechanic repairing the first one's damages, I was fed up and ready to get home. These guys responded to my desperate email first thing in the morning and took my Jeep immediately. They called to get permission to proceed with dropping out the transmission and investigating, then called again to tell me what they had found, along with a reasonable cost estimate. At the end of the day, they let me know it was nearly finished and would be done in the morning. When I picked the Jeep up, they sent me photos of what they encountered and gave me the old parts due to needing evidence against the sham mechanic. They topped off fluids and jury rigged my delicate exhaust system. Even solved an annoying problem I've had of clunking while turning right - totally smooth and quiet now. Only problem was the pipe going into the exhaust manifold was cracked off when I left, which just required a fast fix at a muffler shop. I was on my way and made it 2500+ kilometers back home without problem. Feels really good shifting, thank you.

Great service and great people. We had a truck up in Calgary from the Hat and it broke down. They helped us out and took a look immediately. The problem had to be fixed elsewhere and they suggested another garage. They got our truck over there and it all worked out. Thanks so much.

I can't recommand this shop enough! We arrived there with our old 1986 rv, because after driving 4000 km the overdrive stoped working. Neil (the owner) was very welcoming and reassuring. He even took the time to show us a very nice spot to park our rv for the night so my 3 yo daughter could play in a nice Playground. Arash worked very hard to find parts and always gave us updates. He also spent several ours on the phone with other specialist and tried different things to make the overdrive work again. We were very impressed by the dedication of all the crew to fix our rv! When they finally found what was causing the problem, they ended up charging way less than what the work was worth. This is by far the best service I ever got in a auto repair shop. We had the chance to drive through the rockies and the transmission never failed once since. Thank you guys so much for your awesome work, we ended up having an amazing time in the mountains!

When my transmission failed on me on my way to work, I was so upset. I was fortunate enough to be referred to these guys at National Transmission. I had to get my car towed to them so we were communicating via telephone. Arash was comforting and helpful -he did up a quote for my car at no cost. Arash gave me a call with the news, my transmission was toast and I was devastated. Transmissions aren’t cheap so I needed time to think about what I was going to do. Arash allowed me to keep my car there while I put some thought into what I was going to do. Arash followed up with me the next couple of days to see where I was at. I was basing my decision completely on my emotions and told him that I was just going to scrap my car. Long story short, my car is in good condition other than my transmission issue, doesn’t have high kms, and isn’t that old – I was being irrational. Arash basically knocked some sense into me. In the end, it made complete logical sense to get my transmission fixed rather than dealing with more headaches of purchasing another vehicle. Throughout my repair, I was dealing with Neil and Arash. They are both very straight forward, honest, and professional – they are not here to money grab whatsoever, it was veeeery obvious they had my best interest in mind. They even took time to educate me on some things I didn’t understand and made my whole ordeal heaps better. They went above and beyond to help me and I am very thankful I stumbled upon them, given my situation. Not only did I leave with a running car, I left with a great friendship will National Transmission.

Really friendly service, very competent mechanics and advice. Took my truck in for a T-case rebuild and they took care of it for less than what a used one would cost to buy. They checked my rear diff, found the pinion pin was coming loose which could have been a 15 minute drive on the highway from grenading the thing. Got it all replaced. They gave me a deal so that this could all be affordable. Best transmission shop I have ever been to.
