My friend and I went to Northland Volkswagen to look at options for another vehicle and we were given a referral to National Transmission at 202 - 14th St N.W. here in Calgary. All of the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Apparently a previous owner had glued the manifold, along with other related problems causing serious issues which could have sparked/started a fire. The transmission specialist actually took my friend into the shop to explain all the issues and possible repercussions connected to the sneaky bandaid repair done by one of the previous owners. I would highly recommend anyone with transmission related issues to go to National transmission.
