I have a 1978 Ford F100 2 wheel drive pickup truck with a C4 transmission, which I took into National Transmission's NW Calgary shop (run by Brock Allaire) in June 2024. The task was 10,000 mile preventive maintenance. I received good service at a reasonable price. I had to make an appointment several days in advance, but the truck was into the shop and out in 2 hours once appointment day rolled around. Note: by "preventive maintenance" I mean fluid replacement; sump screen cleaning; checking the bands to see whether they needed adjustment; and re-setting the forward band. This latter operation entailed tightening the band adjustment screw and backing it out the necessary number of turns.

The guys at National transmission in the north east are really honest and experienced. I took my truck in there today. They diagnosed a bad engine miss insted of a transmission issue. The recommended another place that could help and we're very friendly. The only payment they wanted was that I'd bring my vehicle to them for any future transmission problems, which I will for sure

My experience with national transmission was great. I felt Arash went above and beyond for me, unfortunately the issue is not fixed but that has nothing to do with them, as now my Nissan Juke has to go to the dealership, but I would recommend these hard working guys to fix your vehicles, if there is any issues in the future I won't hesitate to bring my vehicle back to them.

I had an extremely positive experience in dealing with Brock there at National Transmission. After a failed transmission and phoning around a few places, I not only found his price to be the most reasonable but he was also very patient and great to deal with, as a single mother who is oblivious to car issues i felt safe in dealing with Brock. He didn't just put any transmission in my car unless it wasn't up to standards. Which resulted in only a few days delay as he wasn't satisfied with the condition of the transmission which was first sent. Which could have been installed into my car leading to further issues down the road, but his knowledge and professionalism restricted that from happening. As a single mother i appreciated his concern and commitment to this. Since picking it i have been back confidently on the road and grateful for my experience with Brock. Definitely a great spot!!!!.

Last summer the wife and I had our trip of a lifetime interrupted by a blown tranny on our 36 ft rv! Brock and the boys went way out of there way to accommodate 2 out of towners travelling this great country of ours. From letting us plug in to there electrical grid 2 letting us use the facilities 2 reassuring us we'd b ok there is nothing more they could've done. The service was was great the workmanship excellent and the price was as quoted!! A job well done boys. Calgary u need experts who know there stuff call Brock, and no I didn't get anything for this write up but great service by friendly dedicated people!!! Again thanx again boys Dave+ Lesley Alliban. Dropped off my Saturn outlook to these guys. The hooked me up. I got front end work that was badly needed and 2 new back brakes. They even installed a brand new grill for me! ! Great bunch of hard working guys who are very honest and helpful . and fast! !...but most importantly, the price is more than fair! !! If I need anything else, this is my spot!

Brock the owner of this location installed a Blower, Heads and Cam, NOS and fuel pump on my 2012 Camaro 1LE and did a fantastic job. I sold that car and brought him a 2014 Camaro ZL1 which Brock installed Heads and Cam and fuel pump and NOS and also did a great job, i am very happy with the work and service they provide at this location and would highly recommend them.
